2009 Mazda 5 is going to hit road in early 2008. In the face lifted version expect great fuel efficiency and enhanced safety features. The feature for which Mazda could be termed as a family car is its sliding rear doors. There is going to be addition to this as the in the new 2009 Mazda5 there is going to be optional new power sliding rear doors that open and close in less than five seconds and stop automatically if obstructed.
The 2.0-litre petrol engine has been revamped with electric throttle and sequential valve timing which could produce maximum torque at lower speeds too and hence quick engine response at every gear. There is going to be standard 6-speed manual transmission and optional 5-speed automatic. 2009 Mazda 5 is going to consume 4% less fuel then its previous counterpart.
Mazda5 could only sell 14,000 units in the first 11 months of 2007 which is not that impressive. Mazda was not able to sell much of its vehicle in US as Mini Minivans have yet to catch on with U.S. consumers.
Mazda will be very busy with the campaign for the new 2009 Mazda MAZDA6(the cash cows of Mazda) so how they are going for New Mazda5, we have to see.

How To Wax Your Car?
Posted by admin on March 3, 2008 - (0)
The wax used in a car wash forms a water resistant coating, is very much different from the wax that is applicable by hand. The prime difference is that car-wash wax is specially formulated to work on glass, chrome, rubber, painted plastic & metal surfaces of the car, leaving a clear, thin film. Car-wash wax does not provide the equal level of protection, nor does it help to remove or cover up tiny scratches as standard wax does. One of the 2 methods used to apply wax. The 1st type of wax uses a system of foam applicators, the common being a triple-form applicator to apply a foam wax. The second type used is liquid wax.
Most waxes and polishes promises to keep the car bright and sunshine. In order to get the best results from any car wax, it is first necessary to wash the car to remove the dirt and road grime. Then a small dime sized amount of wax is applied to a clean dry cloth or a wax applicator is used, not much wax is needed to give the car an outstanding shine. Then even layers of wax is applied using circular motion. The entire car can be waxed with specially formulated waxes.Lastly a separate micro fiber towel is used to shine the car.
After a complete car wash with a recommended car cleaner followed with a good car polish, the next is the wax job. The protectant wax or sealant is applied with appropriate applicator pad or plain micro fiber cloth section wise & allow the product to dry to a dull hazy finish. Buff the protectant off with a clean soft cloth. Excess wax is removed from rubber bumpers and trims as soon as possible. Religious choice now has to make to protect it and keep it shiny because now a clear difference between protectant car waxes & sealants is known to us. One should wax the car once in 3 to 4 months because the more often, the better is it, after proper washing. It is the wax that forms a protective coating protecting the car paint, thereby reducing the chances of damages, harm of Chemicals, protecting the paint from fading so that the car looks shiny forever. Almost half an hour is needed to wax an entire car and if a good quality of wax is used, then it remains on the car for 3 to 4 months at a stretch. It is true according to advertising propaganda nothing lasts forever. In order to maintain the protective shield any product needs to be reapplied periodically. To add lastly most waxes serve 3 primary purposes that help improve the shine and protecting the finish against all road grime.
There are number of car waxes that can be used namely Carnauba based paste waxes, synthetic liquid sealants, personal preference should be done. Both are equally effective and useful in providing full protection to our cars paint from natural odds when applied with appropriate car detailing equipment. The most important thing is to protect the cars paint that is left vulnerable to damage.

Protectant Car Wax
Posted by admin on March 3, 2008 - (0)
A protectant car wax is a product designed to protect cars paint, & impart a glossy wet-look to our dream vehicle. But it is definitely not a car polish. A car polish is actually a mildly abrasive agent used on the car after washing for scratch removal, to smoothen the car surface; it is used before waxing a car. A number of protectant car waxes are available, but they all fall into two categories. The two basic types of car waxes are namely (1) carnauba-based paste waxes which is the traditional one. (2) Synthetic liquid sealants. These waxes have a reputation for providing the deepest possible shine to any car’s paint simultaneously providing the vital protection from the elements our cars paint needs.
For maximum protection waxing the car at least twice a year is highly recommended. Harsh detergent containing harsh chemicals intended to cut through grease should be totally avoided that will inevitably strip away the wax and damage the car.
- Carnauba based paste waxes generally take longer time for application but do not last for a longer period as the other wax does.
- The second type of wax actually contains no wax at all, but lab created polymers & other assorted chemicals are present to form an invisible armor shield on the car paint. This wax is best known for its glass live shine. Sealants are quicker to apply and lasts longer time than paste wax do. The only disadvantage regarding the usage of synthetic sealants is that they tend to draw attention to small scratches instead concealing them as paste waxes do. Personal preferences work in choosing the type of wax for one’s car but both are equally effective in protection & when applied with the appropriate car detailing equipment, it forms a protective shield.
After the car is washed with a cleaner specially recommended followed by a good car polish, the car is now totally ready for the wax job. The protection wax or sealant is applied with the appropriate applicator pad or a plain micro fiber cloth is used section wise. Then the product applied is left to dry to give a dull hazy finish. Then one has to buff the protectant off with a clean soft cloth. Excess wax should be removed immediately from rubber bumpers & trims. Now that we know the clear difference between protectant car waxes and sealants, proper choice of the wax can be made to protect our cars from forces of nature.
The application of pure wax will seal the dirt into the paint, which will enhance the deterioration of the car paint. All these are very necessary indeed to understand to keep our cars finish in tip top shape.
Car wax is specifically formulated for today’s modern finishes inclusive of clear coats leaving a rich, deep, reflective shine with minimal effort and stunning results for a shine that will last.

Protecting Car Wax
Posted by admin on March 3, 2008 - (0)
Inarguably, waxing is the most essential thing to do to guard and maintain the car’s paint. Experts along with serious car buffs religiously follow a regimen that includes washing, polishing, waxing (sealing the paint) and following it up with toppers to turn up the shine and sparkle. But, it is not really imperative to follow this pattern to let your car stand apart from the rest in the crowd.
What you do need to do is to simply protect the paint with an effective car wax or paint sealant. If you choose to omit this, your car will show signs of deterioration and will also be susceptible to further problems in future.
Classically, there are only two types of protection namely Carnauba Waxes and Pint Sealants. It has been observed that Carnauba car wax produces a desirably deep, wet healthy shine that is impossible to attain with the help of a sealant. Thus, they are known to be traditional, natural, time tested form of car protection. However, the disadvantage with them is that they have a melting point which is easily reached in very warm climates with limited longevity and are more difficult to apply on buff off than paint sealants. Paint sealants are deliberately designed to imitate the depth and wetness that any good car wax can produce.
You can protect your car’s wax by implementing simple rules that suit your lifestyle and convenience both. This way even your car’s life will get extended and it will also create a long-lasting shine! Besides this, by protecting car wax, you can also successfully prevent oxidization, aging and fading. These problems are common occurrences for those who fail to proffer their cars with the much needed attention and care!
Protecting Car Wax – you do not need the help of a Pro now!
Formerly (due to lack of knowledge and management), for all things associated with car wax people turned to professionals. But today, with a little bit of guidance and know-how, this can be ignored totally. Protect your car’s wax by following a few guidelines and you will not only save precious cash but also see remarkable results in your car!
Diamond hard protection, luxurious carnauba wax, radiant shine, no grief protection are just some of the benefits that your car will get. To make use of these, there are an ending number of products available in the market which offers quality and brilliance at reasonable rates. What is really required from your part is the desire to protect your car’s superiority and wax shine.
So, now you know that only possessing a brand new car is not enough! Maintaining it, protecting its wax, etc are all relevant facets about car owing that should not be ignored

Such car servicing treatments also inform the owner about issues relating to brake pads, battery condition, steering alignment, suspension condition, oil leaks, corrosions and even the state of the car’s doors. The most positive advantage of car servicing is that after the procedure is complete; the car’s worth will be considered much more in case plan to sell it off!
Apart from car servicing, oil changing too has several benefits that must not be ignored by any intelligent car owner! This is so because oil is the most important service item for the engine’s durability. Standard changing and filtering, at regular intervals, is a must as it makes your engine last longer, enhances fuel economy and avoids pricey repairs too. Characteristically, oil plays two essential functions. One, it keeps all the components well lubricated avoiding corrosion. And two, it flushes away all carbon that gets generated in the combustion process. As it serves a very significant role in the operation of a car, it is necessary that oil changing must be done recurrently. Very often car oil changing must be conducted as often as manufacturers recommend. Oil filter too ought to be altered every time the oil is changed.
For better fuel economy, less wear and gunk build-up in your engine, consider using quality oil that fulfills its purpose. Check your oil level dipstick once every fortnight and make sure it is full. Employ the best use of the tips stated above and you will notice that the number of problems you encounter with your car has considerably reduced!
