The Dodge Ram line of trucks has been around for a long time, a testament to its enduring and versatile design. However, with such longevity, you run the risk of getting lazy and resting on your laurels. The designers at Dodge understand this risk, that’s why they’ve introduced a number of innovative features into the 2009 Dodge Ram 1500. Pickup trucks have always come in a variety of styles designed to fit with the exact needs of the driver. The Ram 1500 is no different and comes in three different cab configurations, the 2-door Regular cab, the 4-door Quad cab which features two rear access doors, and the 4-door Crew cab which features four full sized doors. The Regular cab can fit three people while the Quad and Crew cabs can fit as many as six. Available lengths of the truck beds vary based on cab design.

When you think of a pickup truck, you don’t normally think of the word “luxury”. However, Dodge realizes that just because a pickup truck has to be tough, that doesn’t mean that it can’t provide the passengers with a few creature comforts as well. Some of the options available for the 2009 Ram 1500 are heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats (both highly desirable options if you ever have to do outside work in a place with a harsh winter), and a pair of “store in the floor” storage bins. These bins each feature a removable liner that can fit 10 beverage cans and ice.

Where’s The Power
Like the previous model year, the 2009 Ram 1500 will be available with three engine options, one V6 and two V8′s. The 3.7 liter V6 engine will only come on the Regular Cab and Quad Cab two-wheel-drive models. The 4.7 liter Magnum V8 engine will come standard on all four wheel drive and Crew Cab models. The Magnum engine is FlexFuel Capable, a technology that allows the engine to run on either unleaded gasoline or on E85 ethanol. The top of the line engine choice is an upgraded version of Dodge’s 5.7 liter V8 Hemi engine. What makes this newer version of the Hemi special is that is features Dodge’s Multi-Displacement System, which will automatically shut down four cylinders under lighter loads. This system is a brilliant step towards increasing the fuel efficiency of the Ram 1500, especially since pickup trucks have never been known for their exceptional fuel economy.

The 2.0-litre petrol engine has been revamped with electric throttle and sequential valve timing which could produce maximum torque at lower speeds too and hence quick engine response at every gear. There is going to be standard 6-speed manual transmission and optional 5-speed automatic. 2009 Mazda 5 is going to consume 4% less fuel then its previous counterpart.

Mazda5 could only sell 14,000 units in the first 11 months of 2007 which is not that impressive. Mazda was not able to sell much of its vehicle in US as Mini Minivans have yet to catch on with U.S. consumers.

Mazda will be very busy with the campaign for the new 2009 Mazda MAZDA6(the cash cows of Mazda) so how they are going for New Mazda5, we have to see.

The 2009 Chevrolet Aveo5 is going to use the platform derived from Daewoo for the 2004 – 2008 hatchback. Five people will be able to sit in the car. If the rear seats are folded then it has a cargo room of 42.9 cubic feet. The length for the car has gone up by 2.2 inches whereas the height and with would not have any significant changes.

The styling is contemporary with integrated dual-port grille, wraparound front fascia, Choice of interior fabrics and coordinating accents, including available perforated leatherette seating surfaces that clean up quickly, and Silver, brushed metallic-appearance or woodgrain-appearance accents, rear spoiler. It will also have a new wheel design available with 15-inch five-spoke aluminum.

Acura Sports Car Concept at Detroit auto show in January was initially thought as next generation Acura NSX. Well, it was not true as now we know that 2009 Acura NSX is going to be heavily modified S2000 sheet metal with an extended wheelbase and wider track. Honda is trying to restyle its supercar. The exterior for earlier/present Acura NSX is not quite famous with Sports Car lovers due to which Honda has planned to redesign the car completely.

The car will have new and improved V10 engine which will generate more then 550 horsepower which will make it the most powerful car in Japan. The primary achievement for Honda engineers are that they are able to achieve a great fuel efficiency for its V10 engine where its closes down five cylinders as per on the circumstances.

2009 Acura NSX’s will have new and revised version of SH-AWD four-wheel-drive technology which was first spotted on Acura RL. NSX will also employ six-speed automated manual transmission with rear drive.

The supercar is expected to have 200 mph speed and would run at 60 mph in about 3.5 seconds. The expected price is going to be near $150,000 which could post danger for its popularity. 2009 Acura NSX for sure would give a tough competition to Aston Martin, Lamborghini and Ferrari but does Acura have the brand for the fight is the big question.
